High Saturation Magnetic Induction Intensity: C-shaped metal magnetic powder cores have a high saturation magnetic induction intensity. Typically, iron powder cores can reach up to 1.5T, and high permeability types can reach up to 1.3T. Even under lower external magnetic fields, they can achieve a larger magnetic induction intensity and high-density magnetic flux, meeting the design needs for large capacity and miniaturization.
High Effective Permeability: Various series of C-shaped metal soft magnetic powder cores have high effective permeability. For example, the effective permeability (μe) of iron powder cores is about 75 at 10kHz, and MPP types can reach up to around 500, which helps improve the performance of inductive components.
Good Frequency Characteristics: When working at different frequencies, the magnetic properties of C-shaped metal magnetic powder cores remain stable. For instance, some types of metal soft magnetic powder cores exhibit excellent magnetic stability when used below 100kHz; those with μe of 90 are suitable for use between 100-150kHz, those with μe of 75 are ideal for use between 150-250kHz, and those with μe of 60 perform well between 300-500kHz. For frequencies above 500kHz, it is appropriate to use various alloy soft magnetic powder cores with μe below 26.
Low Losses: Due to their special production processes, C-shaped metal magnetic powder cores have low losses, which is of great significance for improving equipment efficiency and reducing energy consumption.
Good Temperature Stability: Within a certain temperature range, the magnetic properties of C-shaped metal magnetic powder cores change little, allowing them to maintain stable performance under different operating temperatures.
Good DC Bias Stability: With a high Bs value and low losses, C-shaped metal magnetic powder cores can still maintain good performance when both AC and DC fields are present simultaneously.
Performance Controllability: By controlling and altering the production process and technical conditions, it is possible to obtain C-shaped metal magnetic powder core materials that meet various special application requirements and possess specific properties, thereby maximizing the satisfaction of different application scenarios.
Inductive Components: Used to make inductors such as power inductors and filter inductors, which play roles in energy storage, filtering, and choke in electronic devices.
Transformers: As the magnetic core material of transformers, they enable voltage transformation and energy transmission.
